EUPHORBIA MAMMILLARIS F. VARIEGATA
Habitat: Africa
Description:
Euphorbia mammillaris variegata, commonly known as the "Corn Cob" due to its unique stem structure, forms rows of segments that resemble the appearance of corn cobs. This variety is renowned for its attractive variegated pattern, with creamy white, frosty green, and emerald green stems. In cooler temperatures, the stems may develop a delicate blush of rose. The plant grows in small clusters or "heads" that gradually form clumps over time. While it doesn't grow very tall—typically reaching heights of 30cm, it can spread wider as it branches, creating a compact, bushy form.
During the growing season, usually from early spring to early summer, flowers bloom small yellow or orange flowers.
Euphorbia mammillaris variegata is highly drought-tolerant and requires minimal care. It thrives with little watering, making it an ideal choice for those with busy schedules or those who tend to forget about watering plants.
Please note: The image is representative, the plant may vary slightly since each plant is unique.
Note: Take care to avoid the white sap that is produced by the plant, as it can be irritating to the skin. Always wash any affected area with soap and water if contact occurs.
