Mammillaria Elongata 'Lemon'

Habitat: Mexico

Description:

Mammillaria elongata 'Lemon' is a small, easy-to-grow cactus that stands out because of its bright golden-yellow spines. It has small, finger-like stems that can grow up to 10 cm long and spread out as it grows. The stems aren’t sharp and are covered in golden, star-shaped spines that grow in spiral patterns.

In spring and summer, it produces small, bell-shaped flowers that can be pale yellow or light pink, adding a soft touch of colour to the plant. It's easy to care for and perfect for beginners and adds a unique look to any plant collection.

Perfect for small pots, this cactus thrives in compact spaces, requiring minimal maintenance. Like most cacti, it benefits from bright light to promote healthy spine growth, while care should be taken to avoid sunburn. With its relatively fast growth rate, this plant is a wonderful addition for collector looking to add both beauty and ease of care to their collection.
