MAMMILLARIA LAUI SUBS. SUBDUCTA
Habitat: Mexico
Description:
Mammillaria laui ssp. subducta is a charming, compact cactus admired for its creamy-white spines that contrast beautifully against its deep green stem.
This low-growing species is densely covered in bristly spines, ranging from pure white to yellowish or rusty-red at the center. Over time, it forms attractive clusters of stems, each crowned with rings of vivid pink flowers that brighten its appearance.
In spring, it bursts into a crown of vivid soft pink flowers, forming a radiant halo of colour that blooms for weeks
Easy to grow and perfect for beginners, Mammillaria laui ssp. subducta thrives with minimal care. It prefers bright light to encourage healthy spine growth but should be protected from harsh, direct sun to prevent scorch. Its compact size and adaptability make it an excellent choice for containers, windowsills, shelves, or small garden spaces.
