Over time, the plant naturally offsets and forms clusters, sometimes spreading a short distance from the original stem, which makes mature specimens especially appealing.

One of its standout features is that it flowers easily, often even when young, producing blooms of butter-yellow flowers at the crown during the warmer months. Flowers are quite large.
